FOHA greatly appreciates donations from the public to assist in our support of the school and wider special-needs community. General donations can be made and will be allocated at the discretion of the Board based on current funding needs. However, if you would prefer to assist with a specific project at the school, you can contact Julie Lynn at jperry@moed.bm to discuss current needs at Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy and how you may assist.

 

Funds raised by FOHA either through events or individual and corporate donors may go towards:

 

• Staging, or working with other organizations to offer, respite Respite camps held during the Christmas and Easter school breaks

• Equipment needs at the school, such as communication devices for students who are non-vocal communicators, standing frames, classroom teaching aids, playground equipment, adaptive physical education equipment, equipment for our sensory room

• Enhanced curriculum needs, such as Art or Music Therapy

• Purpose-designed workshops Workshops and trainings for staff, parents and the wider community

VIRTUAL TOUR OF DAME
 

Until further notice we will behosting virtual tours of Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy to allow potential Volunteers and Donors to gain an understanding of how the school is run and meet some of the students.

​
